MCLAREN MASTERCARD F1 AND MONSTER ENERGY PROMOTION, 2026

These are the Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) applicable to persons (“You” or a “Participant”) entering/participating in the “Stand a Chance to Celebrate the McLaren Mastercard Fomula1 Team with Monster Energy Promotion, 2026”, (the “Promotion”).

The Promotion will run between 12:00 am (Nigerian Time) on 15th day of July 2026 to 11:59 pm Nigerian Time) on 30th day of September 2026 (the “Promotion Period”). This Promotion is hosted by Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (the “Promoter”).

By entering the Promotion, you accept the Terms and agree to be bound by them.

    ELIGIBILITY

  1. The Promotion is open only to Nigerian residents aged 18 and above as of the time of the entry.

  2. Employees of Monster Energy, the Promoter, their family members and any agencies, including their family members professionally connected to the Promotion shall not be eligible to enter the Promotion.

  3. A Participant is deemed to have entered the Promotion upon the Promoter receiving a valid entry, via its SMS platform (50221) or promo web portal, containing the participant’s details and the unique code displayed under the pull-ring of the promotional can of Monster Energy Drink.

    4. HOW TO ENTER/ PARTICIPATE IN THE PROMOTION

    To participate, a Participant must do the following:

Buy a promotional can of Monster Energy drink (i.e., any of Monster Energy Green, Pipeline Punch, Mango Loco, Ultra White, Ultra Paradise, including the Oscar Piastri celebration Cans for Monster Original) from any location or selected supermarkets and quick service restaurants across the Nigeria.

    Pull the pull-ring of the promotional can of Monster Energy drink to reveal the unique code.

    Scan the QR code on the point-of-sale materials to access the Promoter’s promo web platform. On the web platform, enter the unique code found under the pull-ring of the promotional can of Monster Energy drink and provide all required details/information on the platform to validate your entry.

    Alternatively, you may text the unique code, your full name, age, and location (State of residence) to 50221, to validate your entry. Please note that providing your location (State of residence) is mandatory for the validation of your entry.

    Each unique entry stands a chance of winning instant airtime [‘the Prizes’], or an Invitation to the McLaren Watch Party Event live in Lagos, Nigeria [‘the Promo Reward’].

The Promoter is not responsible for any typographical errors in any materials for registration, submissions that are illegible, incomplete, lost or misdirected, failure of any messages to enter into the processing system, or messages which are processed, reported, transmitted late or incorrectly, or are lost for any reason including electronic, computer, telephone, paper transfer, mail system, human or other error; including inability to access any website associated with the Promotion. Proof of submission of entries shall not constitute proof of receipt by the Promoter.

  8. THE PRIZES

    All valid entries stand a chance of winning instant N100/N200/N350 worth of airtime. Winners of airtime will receive an SMS notification indicating their prize, and the Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number (MSISDN) of each winner will be credited with the airtime automatically. To indicate a limit on number of winnings per day for each mobile number, instant airtime winning shall be capped at 4 winnings per 24-hour window for each participating Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number (MSISDN).

  9. Winners of airtime will emerge daily throughout the duration of the Promotion. The Promoter will endeavour to distribute airtime prizes within one (1) hour of confirmation of the winning entry. However, this is dependent on the Mobile Network Operators (MNOs). The Promoter shall not be liable for any delays in the distribution of airtime for any reason whatsoever by the MNOs.

  10. THE PROMO REWARD

    All valid entries received during the period of the Promotion stand a chance of winning an Invitation to the McLaren Watch Party Event live in Lagos, Nigeria. Winners will be contacted via their MSISDN or receive an SMS notification confirming their win, subject to the terms below.

  11. PRIZE AVAILABILITY

    All prizes are subject to availability at the time when (i) redemption is made; and (ii) the winner’s details are delivered to the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to cap, amend, alter, or substitute the prizes or their structure as it deems fit with no liability whatsoever to Participants.

  12. All prizes and the Promo Reward are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for other prizes (in whole or in part) or cash at the instance of the winner. The Promoter reserves the right, without any liability whatsoever, to offer an alternative prize or event, for any reason and without prior notice to the Participant.

  13. If alternative prizes involve manufactured items, they shall be subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions for warranty, service and maintenance, and the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for them. Prizes are provided by the Promoter on an “AS IS” basis without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, non-infringement of intellectual property, or fitness for any particular purpose.

  14. Once a winner is selected, he/she will be contacted via telephone by the representative of the Promoter and/or its agent. There shall be no multiple wins i.e., a Participant can only win the Promo Reward once, irrespective of the number of entries or phone number selected (in cases of multiple MSISDN used by a Participant in the Promotion). If a winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days after the first attempt, or where the same winner is selected using different MSISDN, the Promoter reserves the right to pick an alternative winner without any liability whatsoever. The Promoter shall not be duty bound to take any extra steps to locate winners. Winners are required to provide a valid and verifiable proof of identification in form of National I.D card, Drivers’ License, International Passport or University Student Identification Card.

  15. GENERAL

    Promotional Materials: By participating in the Promotion, the Participants grant the Promoter, Monster Energy Nigeria Limited including their agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and associated companies, including their retained advertising and promotional agencies the right to use their name and/or images in promotional materials to be deployed on TV, radio, print, digital and social media whether in Nigeria or otherwise, whether modified, enhanced, altered or in conjunction with any other image or sound. Participants shall not be entitled to any form of compensation for the reposting or usage of their name and/or images and shall indemnify the Promoter and its associated companies against any third-party claims, losses and damages that may arise as a result of the usage of their name and/or images.

  16. Release Form: Where alternative prizes in terms of manufactured item(s) are to be given, winners shall be required to sign and return a Declaration and Release Form which, among other things, releases the Promoter, Monster Energy Limited, their affiliates, subsidiaries and associated companies, agents, including advertising and promotional agencies, from all liability relating to the Promotion and acceptance and/or use of the prize and confirms his/her compliance with the terms and conditions applicable to the prize. Where applicable, winners will also sign an undertaking not to alter or change the branding of the branding of the item for a period of one (1) year from the date of taking ownership thereof.

  17. Personal Data: By participating in the Promotion, the Participant consents to the processing of his/her personal data pursuant to the Promotion. Such personal data may include the Participant’s name, age, telephone number and address for the purposes of the Promotion. The Participant also consents to the processing of his/her personal data by the Promoter which may involve the transfer of same to third-party service providers, its affiliates, Group companies or partners in foreign jurisdictions.

  18. No Responsibility for Additional Charges: The Promoter shall not be responsible for any additional charges incurred (including charges for third-party collection, delivery, insurance, etc.) by winners who fail to receive the prize for any reason including error in address provided by the winner, physical absence of the winner during delivery, or winners who choose to make special collection arrangements or pick-up services, should a delivery be necessary.

  19. Taxes: Taxes and levies imposed by any relevant government or tax authority on the prizes shall be fully borne by the winner.

  20. No Responsibility for Damage Etc.: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, Monster Energy Nigeria Limited, and their parent company, affiliates, related corporations, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any damage, loss, claim, demand, or levy howsoever arising suffered by any Participant in this Promotion.

  21. Indemnity: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Participant undertakes to indemnify and keep the Promoter, Monster Energy Nigeria Limited, and their parent companies, affiliates, related corporations, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and agents harmless and indemnified against any loss, damage, claims, costs and expenses which may be incurred or suffered by any or each of them due to the Participant’s breach of any of the Terms and/or arising from his/her participation in the Promotion and/or his/her use of any prize.

  22. By participating in the Promotion, the Participant acknowledges to have read and understood these Promotion Terms. Therefore, any rule of construction to the effect that ambiguities are to be resolved against the drafting party will not apply in interpreting these Terms and Conditions.

  23. Entirety: the Participant agrees that he/she has no rights or claims of any type against the Promoter, except such rights or claims as are expressly stated in these Terms.

  24. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by the Participant due to participating in the Promotion, not being able to enter into the Promotion or accepting or not accepting any prize.

  25. No cheating tolerated - Participant acknowledges and agrees that no form of cheating will be tolerated. If Participant is found cheating, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter, such Participant will immediately be disqualified from the Promotion. Cheating includes using multiple identification details/numbers, tampering with, hacking of the Promotion site (if any), participating in the Promotion without meeting the eligibility requirements, using any automated software or device to gain an advantage during the Promotion, use of the Promotion beyond the defined rules of the Promotion, attempting to disable or overwhelm any of the Promoter’s websites or the Promotion site (if any), attempting to disrupt any portion of the Promotion, including allowing somebody else to use Participant’s personal information, or tampering with the entry process.

  26. Right to Disqualify Participant: The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify without prior notice any Participant found to have tampered with the entry process or the operation of this Promotion, to be acting in violation of these Terms, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

  27. No Waiver: The Promoter’s failure to enforce any provision of the Terms herein shall not constitute a waiver of that or of any other provision.

  28. Modification of the Terms: The Promoter reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Promotion, and/or any element of the Promotion, with or without prior notice or to amend or modify the Terms at any time during the term of the Promotion and without liability to the Participants.

  29. Severability: Each of the provisions of the Terms shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws. If a court holds any provision of the Terms to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in effect and the Terms will be amended to give effect to the eliminated provision to the maximum extent possible.
